9. Shopping, Sleep and Photos

Apparently as you grow to not care what kind of obnoxious people read your blog, you unintentionally fall into the caterogry of becoming careless about what you write, and you know what? I don't. I love the fact that you read it, I'm happy for you, but really its become more of a journal that's completely personal yet impersonal at the same time. Crazy I know.

So I didn't write an entry yesterday as I was too tired to do so, I came round to doing but only managed this title. Spent the day shopping with Hayley and her friend Helena, I say shopping, I mean they shoped while I went around oxford street looking for a toilet and a place to eat. Enjoyable enough? I think not. Managed to see the amount of people who like to heckle Noel Fielding and how witty and quick he is to come back at them, I love his drive to never give up, even when 20 or so people turn against him at his own gig before he's told one joke. How can people be so eager to tell him he's shit before he's even said anything?

On an entirely different note I've come to the understanding more people have complained about my flat, I look forward to seeing the letter. I shall probably scan it and put it up as a reminder to how pathetic some people in uca rochester's halls truly are. I apologise if its past your sleeping hours but I can recall many times when people have been loud past 2am and I didn't complain, its halls, its what you kind of expect? Or am I just too old school believing that it was party time, I'm sure people have got away with a lot worse than singing till 4am? Meh. I'm writing this on a freezing xold bench waiting for my train back to the bridge, sunday services are well and truly wank. I'm completely unsure whether to head into uni for tommorow, but after all it is our brief. Shall upload a cople of pre-editorial photos I took yesterday walking around london. Have to admit it was quite a nice day.

8. The travels of london and being a good samaritan

If karma does truly exist I've got good things coming my way, I helped a lady who, like me, had the unfortunate task of trying to use londons poor excuse for a transport system. There was two ticket machines working for the entire of victoria station and a lady with a massive awkward suitcase was in the queue for some reason nobody was using the debit card machine so I told her we can go over to it.. However a rather aggressive man pushed her out of the way, she couldn't buy a ticket because she only had a five pound note and had lost her place in the queue because of the push, I was next in queue for debit card, looking at her she was about to cry, y'know the look where your eyes well up but you hold them back.. That stage, so I bought her a travel card and she gave me the money for it. I hope I made her day a little better.. She looked like she was having a right shitter. I guess I do have a nice side to me after all.
I don't think I've stated this enough but my new flat mate is awful, she not only sings in the mornings to wake me up, she now throws up too (y) grr lol and I swear to god bitch if you're reading this and I get a fine, I WILL make your life hell. :)

Today has been pretty damn chilled, woke up at 1pm as per usual for a reading week... we had promised ourselves to get up early but after last nights guitar hero and lips untill 6AM can you blame us? So Nobody really awoke untill then, and even then it took josh buzzing our flat for five mins for anyone to answer the door. we Eventually got into chatham around 3 and did the rounds we said we'd do after nicoles shoot.. which never conjured. The whole thing was basically geared towards the grand opening to casinos tonight, the amazing night out began with me and josh playing the newly purchased fifa 09.. after a well thought through plan to get as drunk as humanly possible before going to casinos, which succeeded (or not), we then got to casinos which was AMAZING beyond belief (sort of), i love it, we then left the most amazing club which is casinos (sort of), and went to the BEST take away in the world, see above quote, nicole proceeded to have TOO MUCH FOOD, and then we walked home while lazy girl and eyebrows got the cab. Good night all in all..

AND THEN (dun dun dun) the new BITCH next door decided that even though she had moved into halls she wanted to complain about OUR noise, nicole was pissed, she had spent all of last year harassed by chavs and random drunken idiots so she was annoyed that this twat who had moved from a quiet flat into halls was complaining about the noise.

Stan tried to cover by saying could hear us but we all know its bullshit.. welcome to halls bitch :)

5. Reviews, Scanning, and Chilling

Today was Lazy, got up at 1pm Hanging from the awesome night at tap the night before, i wasnt hanging personally, but EVERYONE else was so i took it as an excuse to also be lazy. Went in for my review, was awesome got a really good grade, and great feedback, then spent 2 hours scanning in negatives onto my user.. and uploaded two of my pinhole shots from my matchbox camera for you to see. Got to be up in at 11, its now 06:10am damn those mid day naps. Tottenham beat Fulham 2-0 to stay in the top four.. whoop! Good day all in all, bring on tommorow!

4. Train delays, and party times!

Today was awesome and shite, if i hadnt turned up to that shitty thing this morning i wouldnt of had to do this project. so im thinking of bunking the whole thing all together. i wish i had stayed in london where i couldv'e spent a whole week, there being happy. im still considering it to be honest. Meh entertaining night at Tap tonight, Kevin got wasted, kept trying to get with... well.. pretty much everyone, girl or boy, myself included. Lost that nice star necklace too.. grr, that place doesnt agree with my style. All in all good night, i pissed some people off, nobody pissed me off, therefore, a good night.

3. Family greetings and xbox takings

This is definately gonna be short now since this is the 2nd attempt at writing the entry on my phone, and the last lot all got wiped. Internet is down so I have to write this entry on my phone. Yes I am aware it is 3am and I have to be up at 830 to catch a train back to kent but I don't give a cats ass, because I've been watching football english/anerican all day and its been awesome, saw arsenal get knocked out of the FA cup by stoke! Saw colts through to super bowl and saw up to overtime in the vikings saints game before the internet died.
So anyways, today was average spent mooching but at the same time it consumed energy through the hours of travelling (4 hours) as half the underground didn't want to work today I had to get overground from paddington and back again. Blergh. I'll be back to spend a day and evening with them next weekend anyways. Time for one last comfy warm sleep before a week of lonely sleeps on my own ahead of me :(

2. Sleep, Shopping and Self Indulgence.

Today was a day involving much sleep, eventually striding into London to go and buy a compact camera, however decided amazon would be a better choice, took many shots on my lovely little fisheye Lamography camera which i shall process scan and upload on Monday :) Mooched around browsing through a few shops and bought some tasty Pizza to now feast upon, only to finish the evening (after making my two purchases on amazon right now) Practical HDR by David Nightingale and a nice new Mustek DV316L 3MPixel Digital Camcorder for my little filming projects. All in all quite a productive day so im allowed to laze around watch "500 Days of Summer" and eat pizza before falling back to sleep for another eventful day tommorow. BACK TO THE BRIDGE :D

The Beginning

Well, it’s late, she’s fallen asleep so, i thought i’d create this here blog. My second attempt at keeping a blog, however, first time i really had nothing TO blog, i was 9-5 working at Debenhams doing not much else with my life and before that i was a jumped up naive little teenager at secondary school thinking everything was rubbish.

As a university student, things have moved on pretty fast, you have to grow up and get on quick with new people, you leave your pals behind everyone spreads out throughout the country apart from the few that decided to set up work and earn some cash. I think this and possibly my FLICKR account are to be my outlets for the next few years, so i guess i can enjoy showing some sort of outlet online, whoever reads it.

University so far has been a bit of a Roller-coaster, it’s not often i feel uncomfortable but Uni has done exactly that many times so far in my first year, can’t wait to carry on from now, everything finally seems to be coming together, i’m happier, and less reserved with people, made some actual friends and some rather cool acquaintances so far, it can still get better.

Was a rough Christmas this year with Grandad being in hospital, seeing family i haven’t seen in a while was an uplift though, even if they did point out the obvious that i have put on some weight. Meh, not much i can do about that than what i have already started, weights and jogging again, some of the “cool kids” at uni have started going to the gym for £30 a month, but hell am i going through that again, Virgin were possibly the worst investment i have EVER witnessed. Dello tried talking me into it, but really.. i really cant afford that ontop of my phone contract which seems to have me by the financial balls atm, got charged £90 this month for a contract which supposedly gave me virtually “unlimited everything” for £35.. but apparently unlimited doesnt mean unlimited anymore so they charged me for minutes out of my contract. It’s not right.

Anyways, less of my ranting, get our new project next week, i have heard it is probably Fashion and Advertising, as much as i love creativity i CANNOT do studio stuff too well.. but we shall see. Bought a copy of Dazed and Confused for ideas today, pretty damn inspiring, got a cheaky dose of photoshop advanced too.. oops, not watching my money.

So i go to sleep a happy man, today minus the above that has irritated me a little. I guess good things can come in small doses.
